You are cordially invited to attend SSIB 2027, the 34th Annual Meeting of the Society for the Study of Ingestive Behavior, from August 2–6, 2027 at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
SSIB is the foremost society for research into food and fluid intake, and its annual meeting brings together researchers and clinicians working across the biological, behavioural and social determinants of ingestive behavior — from the neuroscience of appetite and energy balance through to obesity, eating disorders and the environments that shape what and how we eat.
The program runs over five days and combines invited symposia and parallel sessions with poster sessions, an opening reception, and the closing banquet and award ceremony. Poster sessions are a focus of the meeting — they let a large number of developments be presented, and give authors the chance to discuss results with colleagues in detail.
Abstracts are due March 12, 2027, and early registration closes June 17, 2027. The hotel booking deadline is also June 17, 2027, which allows for a $200 headquarter-hotel discount on registration when booked through the SSIB booking link.
