Poster Guidelines

The poster sessions are important to the success of the conference, contributing to both the breadth and depth of the conference program. Poster presentations make it possible for a large number of important developments in the field of Ingestive Behavior to be presented. The poster program provides authors with the opportunity to interact directly with colleagues to discuss research results at a level of detail that cannot be approached in formal questions following an oral presentation. Conference participants may view your poster paper by attending the specific session that you are in attendance.

Please note the following:

• Mounting of posters begins at 3:00 PM on the day before your presentation.
• All posters must be mounted by 8:00 AM on the day of your poster presentation.
• Posters must remain on display until the end of your poster session.
• Posters must be removed by 12:00 PM the afternoon following your poster presentation.
• The poster board area is 42 inches wide x 40 inches high. Mounting materials will be provided onsite.
• No photography is permitted in the poster sessions.
• All poster presentations must be presented in-person.

• Posters will be printed and shipped to the conference venue.
• Posters for this conference are 42 inches WIDE and 40 inches HIGH.
• Available Template:  42 in x 40 in - Download
• Please leave a 1 inch margin (text and graphics) on all sides to ensure proper trimming. Backgrounds may extend to edge.
• The cost of each print is 70 USD. No posters will be accepted after June 23.
• All posters are printed on glossy photographic quality paper at a resolution of 600 DPI.

File Upload Requirements and Recommendations

• Please set your file/page size to 42 inches WIDE and 40 inches HIGH to ensure the proper aspect ratio.
• All files should be uploaded in Acrobat (.PDF) format.
• Your file must have an "extension" that identifies the file type.
• Files larger than 100 MB are too large to upload.
• Be sure to view your poster at a magnification of at least 200% to ensure the quality of all images/charts/graphics.
• Please leave a 1 inch margin (text and graphics) on all sides to ensure proper trimming. Backgrounds may extend to edge.
• An instant online preview will not be available but we will check over your file before we print it to make sure it looks correct. If you'd like a proof emailed to you simply make a note in the Special Instructions Box when adding your item to the cart. Please keep in mind this may delay the printing of your file.
