If you are using Google Maps for directions, please make sure to enter the postcode OX2 6GG instead of searching for "The Mathematical Institute," as this will provide more accurate results.
Please note that roadwork is taking place on the site next to the building. To avoid disruption, we recommend approaching the Institute via Woodstock Road. Refer to the image provided: the red arrow marks the gate to use, and the green star indicates the main entrance to the Mathematical Institute.
Once inside, the meeting rooms are located one level down on the lower ground floor. If you require lift (i.e., elevator) access, please speak to the staff at the main reception.
Please be aware there is limited public parking available in the centre of Oxford. The University has very limited parking, and on the ROQ site in particular there is almost no parking available although each building does have two dedicated accessible parking places ( the very limited parking is only available via prior booking with a clear explanation of the circumstances of need). The venue advises using the Park & Ride services, parking at Pear Tree and taking the #300 bus which stops opposite the entrance to the Mathematical Institute on Woodstock Road. You can find additional access information here: https://www.maths.ox.ac.uk/about-us/travel-maps/.
