Cancellation Deadline

Payments will be refunded minus a $50 handling fee, provided the request for refund is received by SSIB, no later than May 3, 2024. Refund requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected].

As a non-profit scientific organization, the Society for the Study of Ingestive Behavior (SSIB) is grateful for the generous support it receives from individuals, corporations, businesses and foundations. Both SSIB and its donors/sponsors understand and accept that sponsorship of, or donations to, SSIB including support for the SSIB annual meeting or of New Investigator Travel Awards, are intended solely to facilitate and support the dissemination of fundamental scientific knowledge. Unless specifically agreed to in writing by the SSIB officers and Board, SSIB retains all control and authority to determine program content, including selection of speakers, session chairs, award recipients, and platform and poster presentations. Finally, both SSIB and its donors/sponsors recognize and accept that any scientific interpretations or opinions expressed by invited speakers or other meeting presenters are their own, and do not necessarily represent positions of SSIB or its sponsors and donors.
