Friends of SSIB General Fund

Demonstrate your commitment to the SSIB with a gift to the General Fund. The General Fund may be used to provide support for symposia and early career events at the Annual Meeting of the SSIB.

Gifts to the SSIB General Fund allow the Society to develop the best scientific program for the Annual Meeting and to support events for early career researchers. In so doing, SSIB will maintain its educational mission and public outreach initiatives.

SSIB Memorial Fund

Make a gift to honor the memory of a SSIB member, colleague or loved one.

Honor the memory of a SSIB member, colleague, or loved one who has passed away by giving to the SSIB Memorial Fund. Your named tribute will be noted on the website. Gifts may also be made to establish a named fund in honor of a SSIB member (see guidance on planned giving).

SSIB Award Funds

Make a gift to support an existing SSIB Award Fund.

Planned Giving

Make a bequest to SSIB in your will and/or establish a named award.

Planned Giving

Ensure the sustainability of the SSIB with a planned gift. Leaving money or assets to the SSIB as part of your estate is a way of ensuring that the next generation of ingestive behaviour researchers can benefit from the support and advantages offered by the SSIB community.

We encourage you to consult with your legal and/or financial advisor to discuss your giving goals. Please let us know if you have already included the SSIB in your estate plan or if you are considering doing so.
