SSIB Corporate Donation and Service Schedule 2017-2018

    The SSIB welcomes donations of any amount. The SSIB is a nonprofit charitable corporation. All donations (but not services) are fully tax-deductible. The SSIB’s USA federal tax identification number is 13-3412239. The following schedule provides information on the various categories of corporate support and their associated benefits.

    Advertising and Exhibiting
    • Annual Meeting Poster Ad: 400 USD for the opportunity to display a poster (supplied by exhibitor) advertising your products in exhibit area during the SSIB annual meeting
    • Annual Meeting Unmanned Booth: 1000 USD for one 3x6’ skirted table on which to display books or brochures
    • Annual Meeting Manned Booth: 2000 USD for three 3x6’ skirted tables on which to set up and display items, plus free Annual Meeting registration for one corporate representative. Also, the abstract submission fee will be waived for submission of one scientific abstract describing a poster to be presented in the “Technical and Procedural Advances” or “Research” category, during the scientific poster session". These abstracts must be submitted via the SSIB online during the call for abstract and are subject to all deadlines and rules related to abstract form and submission. Note that exhibitors are not obligated to submit and abstract or present a poster.

    CORPORATE DONOR: Donation of 500-1999 USD

    Benefits include thanks and acknowledgements:

    • 12 months on the SSIB website with link to sponsor's website
    • Acknowledged orally during the Annual Meeting opening and closing ceremonies
    • 12 months in our quarterly Newsletter
    CORPORATE SPONSOR: Donation of 2000-3999 USD

    Benefits include all of the above, PLUS:

    • One full annual conference registration (inclduing banquet)
    • The abstract submission fee will be waived for one scientific abstract in the “Technical and Procedural Advances” or “Research” categories describing a poster to be presented by your representative during one of the scientific poster sessions. These abstracts must be submitted via the SSIB online during the call for abstract and are subject to all deadlines and rules related to abstract form and submission. Note that sponsorship does not obligate the sponsor to submit and abstract or present a poster.
    CORPORATE BENEFACTOR: Donation of 4000-7999 USD

    Benefits include all of the above, PLUS:

    • Recognition of support displayed on printed material at the Annual Meeting
    • Half price on all other advertising and exhibiting services
    CORPORATE PREMIER: Donation of 8000 USD or More

    Benefits include all of the above, PLUS:

    • A second full annual conference registration (inclduing banquet)
    • Recognition of support in a Special Issue of the journal “Physiology and Behavior”, containing reviews and articles from the Annual Meeting
    • One exhibiting service for the nominal fee of $1
    • Naming/identification of a symposium, oral session, or poster session at the Annual Meeting as “sponsored by..." in the electronic (downloadable PDF) Annual Meeting program, if desired

Cancellation Deadline

Payments will be refunded minus a $50 handling fee, provided the request for refund is received by SSIB, no later than June 1, 2018. Refund requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected].
